Hope you get a good surgeon, and that they can do it laparoscopically instead of opening you up. It'll hurt like the dickens, but walking around post-op really will make the pain go away quicker - it helps dissapate the gas that they use to pump up you belly to see in there during surgery.

they didn't find any gallstones in the scan so no surgery required yet, they don't know what's caused it. they gave me lots of antibiotics and painkillers and now i'm home :)
