Anyone heard of it? I was recently introduced to it, and I'm curious about these television stations on computer things. No more bad quality on youtube.

So does anyone use it?

I got one of the first beta invites (I have no idea why, either), and have been using it for a while now.

It's a neat service, it's much better than youtube in terms of quality, and I think that it's unique in the sense that people like Viacom and CBS can jump off the youtube bandwagon and provide more content at higher quality through Joost, leaving youtube to the spammers and v-bloggers that plague the site.

However, as of right now, it's still lacking content, which is a problem. I watched all the episodes of Stella (such a great show), a couple documentaries, and such, and I know the potential is there, but I'm just worried that the content won't catch up.

This actually looks really cool. Can somebody invite me to a beta please? Pretty please? (Their site says to ask a friend who is already using a service ... seems gmailesque) I'll PM anyone who's really awesome and nice my email :P

It's free, right? What kind of things/info do you have to provide in order to sign up?

I've had beta access to it for a while, but I never actually looked at it. Only reason I've even heard of it was because I had to throw up an info page for it at work telling the students how to sign up.
