I'm leaving for a while...
2007-07-31, 5:09 PM #1
I'm leaving for two years where I won't be able to check this site anymore to go do missionary work for my church, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I'm going to Fresno, California to do charity and proselyting work. I think there have been a couple Massassians here who have already gone on missions, so I'm the next one. Anyway, just wanna say that I wouldn't have checked the site regularly if it wasn't full of cool and talented people. I absolutely loved editing Jedi Knight, and I would say Massassi greatly influenced my career choices, college classes, my hobbies and interests... my whole life really. Shout out to Dj Yoshi, lucky_jackpot, and Thrawn_numbarz... they're cool guys.

Uh, yeah. Maybe I'll talk to you all in a couple years. Kudos.

Good luck. Regardless or not if people like the church's actions, helping people is always a good thing.

Good luck, be nice to people and have fun. Yeah, we've had a bunch of people go on missions, and a lot of them came back when they were done. Brandon was a staff member and I believe he did that.

My advice is just help people, be nice to them, don't push your religion too much on them if they don't want you to. You will have a much more rewarding experience if you do that than if you do what they tell you to do.

why do mormons go to resort towns and fresno and london to do missionary work while christians have to go to zimbabwe and cambodia and mars?

oh well. good luck whelly, there's only a 78% chance your girlfriend will be married to a cult leader when you come back

Jon, you're thinking about the fundies. Mormons get to choose who they marry. Yes, even the women. So if he comes back and his girlfriend is married to a cult leader, (a) it was her choice and (b) she married outside of her religion.

And as for Mormons going to resort towns, many of my friends and family have gone to ****holes like Venezuela, the Philippines, and Canada.

**** man, sucks to see you go, but I hope you have fun. I'll still be around I'm sure when you get back, so hit me up!

Enjoy your stay, live your life, and have fun every minute of it. Nothing else matters.

this thread is just a ruse so he could link to all of his levels to advertise them one last time, i believe deleting this thread and banning Whelly for two years is the best solution to this disgusting act of self promotion.

Good luck and have fun! I've played all of your levels except maybe Dereliction.

And maybe you would remember playing Phoenix Suburban City with me one time on the Zone. I can't remember what my name was, but probably had Anakin in it.

If you re-read what he said very carefully, you'll notice he never said otherwise...

Have fun, Whelly, and watch out for those large bodies of water.
