The difficulty ramps up way too quickly, it pretty much becomes impossible at level 4.

And now 50, samurai.

holy ****, I got to 50 too. So intense.

ATTENTION BIG BUDGET VIDEO GAME DESIGNERS: THIS GAME DOESN'T HAVE A CHARACTER DESIGNER, HALF ASSED MOVIE PLOT, OR HDR LIGHTING. IT IS MORE INTENSE THAN ANYTHING YOU HAVE PRODUCED!

I also wouldn't spend $50 on it.

Awesome. Really boring at first, but it gets really exciting when you get more ninjas.

Code to the left of him, code to the right of him, code in front of him compil'd and thundered. Programm'd at with shot and $SHELL. Boldly he typed and well. Into the jaws of C. Into the mouth of PERL. Debug'd the 0x258.

Don't feel bad. I average about 15 a round.

So am I the only one who thought this was rather dull and difficult?

Nope. It's not horrible, but I'm definately not agreeing with Kirbs on this one.

It's simple gameplay just like asteroids and such. I guess that isn't everyone's cup o' tea.

59 by the way, that's enough for me.

5, Trainee

edit - um, why do ninjas have tails? Also, Kirby's right: this would be so much better with HDR lighting.

I don't think CoolMatty's issue was that it had "simple gameplay."

Astroids has more intuitive controls, and you knew without question what you did right or wrong. This game makes it difficult to tell what I have to do to deflect from certain angles... I could figure it out, but I don't have enough interest in it. In a "fight until you die" game that these sort of games often are, I feel there should be more room for possibility.

That, and Kirby frothing at the mouth over it kinda killed it for me.
2007-08-04, 11:07 PM #21
I liked figuring it out as I went along.

This game is loosely based on the time Chuck Norris woke up and a Ninjas had stolen his apples.

46. Along the way, I found out a score of 0 is Sword Rack. I really hope the top rank is Pirate.

The first few levels are too slow. It takes forever to get to the good stuff, then it's suddenly lightning speed.

So I've found the game a lot more enjoyable once I learned to HOLD a direction instead of trying to swing the instant something was coming at me. I do agree, though, the beginning is just a little too slow.
