I have seen something today that puts a smile on my face. Gabe Newell of Valve software, announced recently that at the current rate of bug-fixing, Half Life 2 will be gold within the next two weeks. Do I believe it? Well.. no. But man, I really gotta say, that would kick *** . Give Doom 3 a little competition. Here's hoping. He made this statement something like 4 days ago and it was just posted at Gamespy.com. He said to expect an announcement within 16 days. That gives us, with it being 12:20 am EST, 12 days of waiting. I don't think it's going to happen, but I am hoping. August 5th. We should know by August 5th.
