The number 9 also looks like a g, or a q, depending on the font.

But yeah, since I wasn't looking at this thread hard, I actually thought it said "This letter g looks like a g" when I first looked at it. So your point is made.

FYI - On the mac I use at work the q and g are visible. so i didnt understand the point to this thread.
