Unfortunately, I'm not all that familiar with Star Wars, so I cannot comment.

Your an ******* Rob. Seriously, piss off. That was pretty badass. The effects were really good, and the story and acting were far better than any fan film I had seen before. The only thing I don't get is why do fan films keep picking women jedi to be the focus in their movies. It always ruins it for me. Other than that nit-pick, awesome.
Think while it's still legal.

Uh, maybe because George never did it so it's semi marginally original albiet overdone now in fan films?

The special effects look really nice, but unfortunately the cinematography has that same "hey I was shot on an XL-2 look" that so many fan-films have.

I watched the first 3.

It seemed a bit slow and melodramatic.

Decent story thus far though.

Hmm... Looks like there's an SD download for the film. Gotta torrent it at some point when I have time. Subtitles fortunately were also available from the forum. I don't feel like installing some suspicious divx plug-in... (Nor is my brain spongiform enough to watch anything serious on youtube.)

I skipped through it, and didn't like it. When there was one bad guy against a bunch of Jedi on this cliff thing I was expecting an epic 1 vs all lightsaber battle... Seriously, the only fan Star Wars films I like so far are the Ryan VS Dorkman shorts.

That's no special file format. It's a simple avi-container with DivX encoded video. If you have the DivX-codec no player should have problems playing that file.

Damn. That was easily one of the best fanfilms I've ever seen. The fact it was in Italian only made it better. Much funnier (not in a funny but like a pleasant way) to listen to than the usual English. Of course one of the best details can't be forgetten: the old dudes and dudettes. No more 21 years old playing the roles of Imperial Admirals or Jedi Council members.

Also, the ~900MB downloadable version had a really good picture quality.
