Beats me...though the legality is probably rather questionable...

Yeah. It looks like people add links to hosted mp3s or pages that link to mp3s. Legality thoughts?

Edit: Well I demonstrate my superb and superior reading skills

The Seeqpod REST API can be used by writing a client in your preferred language e.g. Python, Java, C, PHP, Ruby or any other capable language.

I wonder if I can wrap this in .NET
Code to the left of him, code to the right of him, code in front of him compil'd and thundered. Programm'd at with shot and $SHELL. Boldly he typed and well. Into the jaws of C. Into the mouth of PERL. Debug'd the 0x258.

Since it's REST, you can absolutely wrap it in .NET, and any other language that has libraries to support HTTP requests.

Seeqpod is legal, but pretty much everything it links to isn't. It's as legal as googling for MP3s >.>

Would someone explain to me what it so neat about this? It's just an in browser thing where you search for music and it pops up links to MP3s, which you can add to an online playlist, yeah? It's already been done and I have it on my MySpace page. What am I missing about this that is so "OMFG AMAZING"?
I had a blog. It sucked.

Because it doesnt hunt just the myspace database. This is pretty much like searching for mp3s over google... except it collects all results to one page that you can listen to them on.

Why the heck didn't it find any results when I searched for bands like Hammerfall?

You know what this has taught me?

Internet users on a whole have horrible taste in music.
If you choose not to decide, you still have made a choice.

This is awesome.

Now I can harass people that host songs by struggling indie bands.

This is what I was talking about. Obviously, what was posted here is slightly higher quality because of the "Discover" function. But what I linked to allows you to search a song title, add it to a playlist, and then listen to the playlist. How is this not the same thing?
I had a blog. It sucked.

Zloc_Vergo isn't good at internet.

He might take a step back and stop trying so hard to be good at internet.

Thanks for answering my question.

How is this different from what I linked to?

Actually I think that's a little better because it lets you look at other peoples' playlists and listen to them.

I think this would be rather useful for hearing one of the obscure bands that people mention to me without having to download, buy, or search youtube for.
