I went in with my sister on all of these (she's great):

Mom and step-father: gift certificate to Harold's (apparently it's the super-department store in England, where they are living right now)
Dad: Alien Quadrilogy (wewt)
Grandmother: tickets to go see a dinner theater show
Lauren (young cousin): gift certificates to Muvico (movie theaters)

Semievil (for those of you who know him): funny refrigerator magnets. One says something alike to the following (I forget the other one, it was too complicated to remember):

"Sometimes everything makes sense, then I regain consciousness."

I forgot what other family members got as well. Still need to get something for my sister [http://forums.massassi.net/html/redface.gif] as well as a couple friends (I hope).

Ya... my girlfriend gave me an iPod ($399), she bought me a new acoustic guitar last month ($850), and a bunch of other stuff like the Indy DVD. And I got her about $250 worth of stuff. So, ya she has a part-time job but she works 30 hours a week, and gets paid rather well. So ya she has more money than me but I really feel bad, but it's what I could do and she was happy, it's the stuff she wanted.

I guess my original post came across the wrong way. I never meant to make anyone feel bad for not being able to give. In fact, I'm 26, and this is the first time I've really been able to give the kinds of gifts I've always wanted to give. I have been blessed with a high paying job recently and I wanted to show my appreciation to everyone for their support throughout the years. I've leeched off everyone, my parents, my siblings, my girlfriend, YOU GUYS, everyone.

Until recently, none of us gave each other presents at all (well, except my folks who have always given us nice gifts on Christmas - even if it mean taking out a loan [http://forums.massassi.net/html/frown.gif] ), so it's fun being able to do it nowadays.

I apologize if my post made anyone feel bad, it was not my intention [http://forums.massassi.net/html/frown.gif]
2003-12-27, 2:54 AM #32
Bri is loaded... man, where's my presents Bri? [http://forums.massassi.net/html/wink.gif]

i was very happy to be able to give more to my family this year... i still don't have a job (hard to get at age 15) but i robbed a ban... er, i took a loan (= (j/k)

mum:
Deluxe Turntable Scrabble (she's a scrabble-fanatic... so am i)

dad:
the longest day on DVD (i love sales! [http://forums.massassi.net/html/wink.gif])
new coffee mug
bag of peanut M&M's

my brother and I decided not to give eachother anything since we bought mom's gift together and since both of us are poor (he's a freshman in uni. now)
and my sister is on her way to Italy so i can't really give her anything.
