for some reason if i select 3d accel. in setup and choose my resolution and try to play the game it goes to a black sceen and i get a microsoft error report

any way to fix this?

What's your refresh rate set at?

As I've just found out through Baldur's Gate 2, a lot of the older openGL and directx type games won't function above 60hertz.

Refreshlock http://www.pagehosting.co.uk/rl/ should do the trick, although I still have to reinstall BG2, so I haven't had a chance to test it yet. Apparently it does the trick though.

I've had JK running with above 60 Hz for years across multiple systems, I doubt that's the problem.

Try running it in windowed mode. For some reason it seems to work better.

Yes, make a shortcut to JK.exe and add -windowgui to the path.

i tried reinstalling the graphics drivers but it didnt do anything... any other sugestions please i really want to play JK again
