Why hasn't somebody created a decent theme park? All the fun that's been had in Jedi Highschool beckons for a level like this to have been created.

Any level ideas that you wished someone would make but nobody ever did?

A big cruiseship or cruiseship-like spaceship. I started making one once...

But that didn't go very far.

For JK or in general?

Some blokes at school were making a representation of my campus for HL2.

I'd love to see a CSUSM for just about any shooter.
Code to the left of him, code to the right of him, code in front of him compil'd and thundered. Programm'd at with shot and $SHELL. Boldly he typed and well. Into the jaws of C. Into the mouth of PERL. Debug'd the 0x258.

If there was a good theme park level I'm sure we would have heard of it :)

Unless you're thinkin' of Jedi's Fun Fair, which wasn't fun at all. I'd rather play ultimate duck hunting.

Mechanics of the Force, Level 2.

MotF was one of the best JK levels ever made, and the author promised us a sequel. He even went so far as to post several screen shots...

That's where you played as a droid, right?

Yeah, and the entire second half was just a bunch of really cool really complicated puzzles where you had to protect an R2.

The real bummer is, I seem to recall that level 2 was just about to go into beta when the author vanished (and the wayback machine bears me out). It still haunts my dreams that a Beta worth version of level 2 might be sitting on some backup CD in this guys closet, while he leads his happy and successful life having forgotten all about it. :(

I always thought a level which goes through the body of Kyle Katarn would be cool.

Like, where you're tiny and there are epic saber fights in his mouth, or you could jump down into his stomach and jump from floating food too floating food to avoid stomach acid, then go up into his brain which would be a series of tubes and wind tunnels and such. Go into his lungs and have them turbo lift you into the mouth or out the nose where you go into space and die. . .

I even tried making it. But I couldn't figure out what I was doing. .(

I had some ideas when I (poorly) edited JK. I started working on an observatory, which would have included a telescope and an appropriate cog for it.

Another "fantasy" of mine was a Lego SP level set in a Lego castle complete with Lego skins, and a dragon boss battle.
Looks like we're not going down after all, so nevermind.

I made this cool space station once with glass elevators.

Only I cheated, instead of having the shaft a sector inside of another sector, I just made the sides glass, and then extruded all the walls you could see on the station once and textured them on that side.. :P

It was a pretty dumb idea and it didn't work as well as I would have liked. So I eventually made a ginormous skybox, which I gave up on trying to connect to everything.

Obi-Wan TC <_< Just to see what all the hype was about.

Also that level I think MikeC was working on, where every enemy has a unique skin.

I remember when Obi-Wan TC returned briefly in 2002 and the editor claimed that it was gonna need at least a GeForce 3 to run properly. Good times.

I think it was the same year TheSpanishKid tried to revive some old TC's like TPM TC.

Which reminds me of SWTTC. Now that was something that should have seen the daylight. Especially when Burrie had whatever they had finished for it (a magnificent Hoth level according to his words) on some computer of his but never bothered to check it. Hm.

I have a beta of the SWTTC Hoth level on my computer. I used to work with TPMTC and talked to Earl (SWTTC) breifly and he sent me a beta of the Hoth level, a beta of Mos Eisley, and a beta of the first level. At the time I thought Hoth was huge and really detailed, but looking at it now - there's not too much to see. I'm not sure if I have the other 2 files - or even the last beta Earl sent me (Hoth really looks bare)
