Selling my desktop
2007-08-21, 12:16 PM #1
I'm selling my desktop since I don't use it anymore, it runs new games on medium settings well.
  • AMD Athlon XP 3200 (2.2Ghz)
  • Asus A7N8X Motherboard (NForce 2 chipset if I remember correctly)
  • 2x512MB PC2700
  • GeForce 7600GS 256MB AGP
  • DVD-ROM drive
  • Floppy Drive
HDD and OS not included.

Between 200 and 300 bucks.

Feel free to ask me any questions or haggle.

Yeah so I think I might take you up on this, I am looking for a new PC for music, writing, school, and procrastination.

Where are you shipping from and how much do you think shipping will work out to be? I gotta budget.

Is the 7600GS a Palit? Because if so it has DDR3 memory and can be overclocked to match 7600GT.
Looks like we're not going down after all, so nevermind.

Sorry, I'm not splitting it up.

I'll weigh it later today so everyone can figure out how much shipping to them would cost.

Never heard of Palit, the brand is XFX. On the box it says it's already above stock speed or something so take that as you will.

Don't use FedEx ground to ship it. They managed to do some fair damage to the computer I sent to dud.

Thats what you get for sending ANYTHING through a ground system.

Wolfy probably just sucks at packing. Of course he'll say that's not true, but he doesn't have the experience we do, Rob. :highfive:

Ground shipping is still rough stuff.

I do everything fragile through air shipping. It's worth the extra money.

It's like people don't understand your package has to compete with other packages before it reaches it's destination. But it has to compete with LESS if it's in the air system because containers hold less packages, and the ride is smoother.

That computer probably ended up on the bottom of a pile of boxes 10 feet high in a 52' trailer.

Even then, pack that **** better yo. If you aren't comfortable dropping your package from about waist high then you haven't packed it right.

The best thing is if you still have the box your case came in.
