Rock Climbing - shoe suggestions!

So I do a lot of rock climbing (mostly bouldering) at school. I started looking for shoes and came across these:

http://www.backcountry.com/store/FVT0007/c5/s100000040/Five-Ten-Galileo-Rock-Climbing-Shoe.html

I like them, but thats a decent amount of cash, so I want to make sure im getting my monies worth.

I was told to avoid mad rock shoes because they typically have poor quality. I also would prefer shoes with the padding on top as opposed to laces.

Do any of you have any other advice?

Just that they DO say "stealth" on the bottom, so they must be :awesome:

Pretty sure my old shoes had Stealth soles, but that was years ago so they're probably better now. I liked mine then, though.

You'd probably be better off posting this on a climbing forum or something.

5.10 makes the best shoes ever. Their stealth rubber is the most amazingly grippy stuff ever.

Good buy.

they look pretty good, but I think you'd be insane to buy climbing shoes online. you really need to try them on and see whether they suit the shape of your feet. I spent atleast an hour trying on shoes before buying my current pair (red chilli, impact zone)

Go try them on somewhere, pick the ones you want, then buy them online ;)

I can't really comment much, I bought a 2nd hand pair of Triop shoes for £5. As the other guys say buy one in person after much trying on and comparing. I bought mine more or less immediately due to the ridiculous price but I have to wear socks with them to keep the skin on my feet.

Oh yea I went to a store to try them on, no way in hell would i buy them online haha.

They fit awesome when i tried them on the first time, but reading about them online helped me decide they were the right ones.

I need to start climbing again. I've become weak and I'm going to be in a great area for climbing.
