(It also looks 10X's better than the last one. . .which, isn't hard to do)

Yes, but what do you expect? It's a movie about monsters killing each other.

. . .Though, I had secretly hoped for a romantic comedy montage where the Predator and Jessica Alba try to feed ice cream cones to one another. :awesome:

Years ago, over 10, I read the trade paperback that collected the original Dark Horse series and the novelization of that series. If they ever made that movie it would be awesome.

I bought the DVD for the last movie. I'll buy this one. They're mediocre but fun. Oh, and I would say that the preview for this movie makes the last one look better.

Eh, not a big fan of "Vs." movie. They all suck. To me, it's something you think of but not really make into production.

It better be. What was this 'predators befriending a human and painting a happy BFF mark with flowers and sunshine on her forehead' crap in the last one? :argh:

Read the original Dark Horse series, if you care enough. Similar to the respect the predators showed Danny Glover's character in Predator 2.

edit - since you probably won't read the comics or the novelization it's basically one predator and one human female that fate pairs together against an onslaught of aliens. It's also in the future on some offworld colony. Before the female predator dies it marks the human with its symbol. When the predator ship arrives they see the mark and spare the human. Similar to the movie but they really effed the whole thing up.

Well, looks a lot better. Glad they got the PG-13 crap out of their system.

(did anyone else think the trailer's purpose was basically to scream "hey guys, come watch this one, it isn't pg-13! look!")

Until I see the USCM, all AvP movies will suck as far as I'm concerned.
