Helping a friend replace his computer, and I'm looking for a good ATX motherboard, preferrably no more than $100, with something around a 1 gigahertz computer.

Anyone know where I might be able to find one? eBay just doesn't strike me as a reliable source.

Why do you want to buy a 1 GHz computer? I'd suggest getting a Duron, as they're only like 30 dollar chips, and their motherboards cost about the same. 1.3ghz for 30 bucks. Not good for gaming, but then again, neither is a 1 ghz chip period.

No way, I've overclocked my 833 PIII and I get 26 fps on minesweeper.

Well, I must admit that the stutter in framerate makes minesweeper nearly unplayable on my computer. I've downloaded the latest DirectX as well.
