Just curious. Is it a badge of honor? Is it the mark of a true ***? Do you regret whatever you did to get banned?

I've been banned twice and I can't even remember why.

I got banned for a day over something stupid.

I think everyone's been banned on the chat at one point or another.

I argue that I've only ever been banned for a good reason once. The other times seem to be petty issues, or an admin's personal conservative opinion.

I don't think I have ever been banned in chat. Once on the forums I think. Maybe twice. I think just once though.

So do you think that you got banned because they disagreed with you or that they were harsher towards your post, whether it was language or style, because of their views? I hope you can figure out what I'm trying to ask there. We all know that I only have a passing knowledge of the English language.

I deserved it every time except when blujay did it.

blujay wasnt good at this 'admin' thing. he tended to ban people who didn't like the same things he did.

Once. Ban numba 69, in perhaps the most epic thread/chatroom combination ever. In retrospect it was childish and flaimbaiting, but hilarious at the time. I still sometimes chuckle about the whole situation.

Oh, I lied. I've been banned twice. Second time was me being stupid and acting "internet tough". Not sure it was warranted. But meh.

Oh, and the best part of the first ban? The life of massassi was banned, and when we (most of us) were unbanned 3 days later there was a great revival.

Once. It's in the ban thread. I think their reason was questionable since I never once said I pirated anything. The way I stated it in my post implied any number of other things.

That and people talk about pirating things more directly than my post ever was.

Someone, I think blujay, banned me once because I posted a link to some website. Because of my browsers pop up blocker, I saw nothing but the site.

Blujay, however, saw about 800 porn popups, that crashed his computer and caused him to lose a bunch of work.

It was a completely legitimate misunderstanding, and no hard feelings.

Anybody other than Anovis votes for the last option gets an IP ban.

I got banned back in 2001 for being a stupid teenager. But being the stupid teenager I was, I just re-registered right after the ban and hence the name not just being Timewolf. :awesome:

Banned twice.

Once for posting a video of a donkey chasing a man, but sadly completely failed to notice the 2 feet long erected donkey penis. Animal porn for the lose.

Once because I heatedly voiced my opinion on homosexuality without giving a second glance at the wording.

I've been banned only twice. First time was ages ago when Blujay still ran the place. He banned me for like 2 months or so because I made a conditional remark about people being stupid about something someone said. Another time was more recent when I pointed out that the "outpost d34" website was no a porn site and I provided a link (bad boy on my part, lol).

My friend saw me posting here at school, so he looked at the URL, joined up, and posted some silliness. So then they did an IP ban, so my account got banned too. Had to beg mb to give it back, I think. Don't know if that counts.
