What is the oldest Star Wars video/computer game you own/have owned?

I had Star Wars and The Empire Strikes Back for the NES. I think the oldest game I have now would probably be Star Wars for the Gameboy, essentially a port of the NES title. Also have the Super Star Wars games for the SNES.

The oldest computer game I have is the XWing Collector's CDROM. From there I have Rebel Assault II, TIE CDROM, DF, Yoda Stories, JK, MotS, JO, JA, Galactic Battle Grounds (which I hate). I think that's about it, couple other multimedia things but not really games, per se. I never got Rebel Assault because I always thought that game was terrible even though it was a top seller back in the day.

X-Wing. The QBASIC one where the Deathstar looks like a baseball.

The first real SW game was also X-Wing I guess.

Oldest PC Star Wars game I have is X-Wing.

However I have three Atari 2600 Star Wars games: One was a lightsaber that you fought against the remote or another saber or something I can't quite remember. The next one was the infamous hoth battle, and the last one was return of the jedi where you were the falcon and you were trying to blow up the second death star.

I remember all those. I never had the 2600 so I never had any of those. Plus, even back then, those graphics were horrible and gameplay difficult with those controllers.

I forgot, I also have all the XWing games through XWA. All or most of the N64, Gamecube, XBox Star Wars games. I only add that because I listed the PC games earlier.

I bought a computer right as CD-ROM was becoming the main distribution method so I never bothered with the 3.5" versions of any of those. I'm curious, did you mean 3.5" because I don't remember 5.25" versions of the game?

I have the X-Wing: Collector's CD-ROM, Rebel Assault and Star Wars Screen Entertainment in one package.
Good times.
I remember when my brother borrowed Rebel Assault, Rebel Assault 2 and The 7th Guest when we finally got our über-fast 3x CD-ROM drive.
These games really drove the CD forward. We never had such a thing for the DVD.

Yeah, I mean the 3.44" ones. Don't know what I was thinking.

that wiki article says super return of the jedi is the only one based directly on a film for the gameboy but i'm positive the game i played was based on ANH, the first level was a top down drive through tattoine on the speeder thing, then some platform level, it was kinda hard and kinda crappy.
2007-08-28, 4:09 AM #28
It was this one I think.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Star_Wars_%28NES%29

It's the one I meant anyway.
nope.

Super Return of the Jedi for the Gameboy, probably. I never managed to complete it. I think the closest I got was Han's level, taking down the shield generator. The boss always killed me.

spe: the first level of this game was Leia (disguised as a bounty hunter) trying to get to Jabba's palace on foot.

Edit: According to GameFAQs, I was four levels away from the end of the game.

Oldest Star Wars game I have is Star Wars for the Commodore 64. Green lines on a black background... 2 colours only. Must have been early eighties... It involved flying the death star trench and shooting TIEs. I still have the game, and my C64, but it needs a new powercable/converter.

I wasn't aware there was a SW title for the Atari...

Dark Forces.

My X-wing was on this big black disk. I guess it's the 5.25" one. It took up a few of those >_>

I also remember Descent taking 7 or 8 3.5" disks. Good times

X-Wing, then Dark Forces

I always wondered how compatible SW Droidworks resources were with MotS...
