Arisen from the ashes of it's predecessor like a... a pheonix that's gone a bit mouldy comes Massassi Radio... again.

Basically over the last 3 weeks I've asked round people I would expect to want to DJ who would give us some good variation, and I've assembled a basic timetable so far. Now, the idea this time to keep the radio going is that DJs are only going to be timetabled to play slots at the weekend [Saturday and Sunday], while CM autobroadcasts during the rest of the time so it'll be running 24/7 regardless.

If you can't do a slot, that isn't overly important, get someone to fill it or just let CM's thing fill it. If you're not on the timetable at all, tough **** you're not hijacking anything.

The timetable at the bottom of this post is all in EST and is provisional, it could change but this is how its going for now. If you wish to fill any of the empty slots, feel free to ask.

The radio will most likely begin running on Saturday, however CM is broadcasting 24 hours at the moment anyway. Yay!

For further info, #Massradio is running again on synirc with the rest of the massassi channels.

AND FOR NOTICE COULD ALL PEOPLE SET TO DJ TURN UP IN #MASSRADIO AT 4PM EST ON THE 30TH AND I CAN ANSWER ALL QUERIES THERE.

I don't have any IRC programs, but I've pretty much asked you all the questions about the radio over MSN anyway so it's cool.

Couldn't there be some jk editing stuff on it? I mean, what's the point of it being the so called radio of Massassi if it's not related at all. Might as well just be called Baconfish radio.

Why can't there be "new level reviews" at 7, followed by "weekly hub updates" at 8, with music inbetween? That would be awesome, and give massassi a good reason to tune in - instead of just listening to some people off the forum play their music.

its called britstorm radio, and please feel free to fill an hour slot per day with new level reviews because I just *know* the jk community is releasing at least 7 or 8 levels per day.

"#Massradio"

1 per week I'm sure, if not review betas on the hub - there's atleast ONE beta/level a week. No need on the sarcastic reply at all.

is there enough content for even one a week?

it aint the most prolific game we're talking about here, i'm gonna guess that apart from this SP level pack doohickey the rate of levels released is gonna drop to about seven per year if we're lucky.

i will do a talk show where i discuss my bowel movements if you like boco they are quite varied in timing, texture and size.

and its still called Britstorm radio.

Goit, the Hub had a quasi-annual (not by design mind you :S) radio show that aired last time MassRadio was online. Archives should be on the Hub. It was Kirby, ZeqMacaw, and me.

Of course you can do that. You gonna broadcast it?

It's not that it isn't allowed, it's that no one is bothering to do it. :p
2007-08-29, 7:27 AM #19
And we could barely keep it going. There isn't enough activity to justify a radio show anymore. Let it go.

Hey I said I'm open to people offering to fill slots. Fill them with what you want, but like someone else said, nobody has bothered yet.

Although I do have one or two ideas for non-music shows. If we could get some female voice actors NeS radio could finally start recording, and yoshi and yecti were talking about RTFM last night.
nope.

So, how do we broadcast? I've never done this before.

Talk to Baconfish and he'll tell you how.
