Luke's lightsaber to take flight

Basically, NASA will be taking Luke's original saber up in the space shuttle. The site mentions that they take things up every once in a while, but they don't seem to advertise well.
"Flowers and a landscape were the only attractions here. And so, as there was no good reason for coming, nobody came."

Pfft, that's Anakin's saber. Luke's saber is the ROTJ one (even though its a ripoff of Ben Kenobi's.) :eng101:

On Keith Olberman yesterday he said "They're taking the original luke skywalker lightsaber into space" but they kept showing clips from RotJ, which clearly was Luke's second lightsaber. [/comic book guy]

Why is Chewbacca always used to represent Star Wars? Any time a character is going to make a guest appearance somewhere, chances are it's going to be Chewie.
