Yea, that airplane is a restored WWII era P-38 that was crashed and buried in Greenland? They call it the "Glacier-girl", and flies at several US airshows. http://www.thelostsquadron.com (apparently, English airshows too)
Except, his desktop looks like it stretches it out.
I somehow have a squarer pic that's a big enough picture to crop to your settings.
