I downloaded both isos at 15-20 kbps for several hours and then they just decided to terminate the transfer before either was finished. Although I expected no better from EA servers... I wish there were torrents.

I got both ISOs successfully. Took overnight though.

Mine took overnight as well -- was getting 3k/sec at the end.. :eek:

But hey, free is free, and I won't be playing it for a while anyway...so the wait wasn't a problem.

I also found out how to get the game working online without registering with the now defunct Westwood Online.

For some reason the hash check totally rejected the 46% and 27% partial files that I had managed to get via http yesterday. Now I need to start from zero again. I've never seen a thing like this happen before. Oh, well, can't be helped. utorrent's ways are mysterious and strange to mortal minds.
