Ok so all the footage is in quicktime format (imported with final cut). So i have a few gb of video in .mov format.

I know that iDVD can take .mov files, but does it compress them at all? Cause if it doesnt I need to compress them.

The other thing I was attempting was using DVD Studio Pro, however this program likes m2v for video and aif for audio. But the m2vs I made arent importing :(((((


So does anyone have experience with iDvd? it would be so nice if i can just throw all this stuff in there and have it all be compressed for me

have you looked through all the options and help menus on iDVD?

Not yet >_> I was stressing out when i wrote that post... I think I should be able to just use iDVD to throw all this stuff onto one dvd. Going to try that after i eat

I thought mpeg2 doesn't leave much room for compression anyway. How many hours long is your material?
