Alien Vs Predator the movie has Recieved a PG-13 rating.... WHY... WHY... WHY.... did the makers of this movie EVER see ANY of the Predator movies, or Alien movies? granted there isn't hardly any blood in the Alien movies, there's more than enough in Predator... This movie is more than likely going to be horrible, and it's going to distroy both franchises... they shoulda just let James Cameron Dirrect another Alien movie

I thought Laboratory got deleted. Phew, that took a load off. I was worried for a second that something bad happened to Laboratory, but something worse just happened to an already crappy movie.

Aliens.....vs.....Predator.....PG-13.....

What, do they just ***** slap each other till one starts crying? I guess the tagline is accurate, no matter who wins - we lose.

Considering the premise of the "Alien vs Predator" concept is usually more action based, it makes sense. Predator and Alien movies had a lot of suspense moments to build up tension thus scaring you more.

I hardly think one step of a rating is gonna be a big difference, besides they don't have Ripley tromping around in skimpy clothing in some part or another sooo. [http://forums.massassi.net/html/tongue.gif]

The sad part is that James Cameron was talking about doing another Alien movie (he dirrected Aliens) and in essence, saving the franchise after Alien Ressurection... He also said he would only do it, if they dropped this whole AVP movie thing.... well, of course, we all see what happened there

The ratings in this country (Britain) are getting more lax though. I just bought Terminator on DVD: My old VHS copy is an 18, but the DVD is down to a 15.

If it's the same in America, it might be ok, just your certificate people are getting less worried about showing graphic violence and gore, because people know it's fake...

...It's those potty-mouthed Canadians we've got to worry about/KILL!

Heh, when we went to see Spiderman, at that part where Doc Oc killed all the doctors in the emergency room dad leaned over to me and said "Woah, that was pretty violent for a PG-13 movie..." and I was like Dad... you do realize Jurassic Park was PG-13, right? AVP= great game, but not so great movie.

I may go see it just to lose myself in some mindless action for a awhile. it's obviously not art like the classic alien/aliens films, but its still worth seeing, IMO.

PG-13 seems acceptable to me. Basically that tells me that there won't be endless streams of profanity nor virtual intercourse on the screen. Seems to me that the original Predator could probably score a PG-13 today. I have high hopes for this film and I have no problem with the choice of director. He directed Resident Evil and Soldier, a couple favorites of mine.

Since most of the blood is not red, they can sqeeze by with a PG-13 rating.
