Looking for royalty free

What the title says. Im looking for basically small video clips of things like the Iwo Jima flag raising, or anything relating to the american military. Im helping someone out with a small documentary they did on US Veterans.

I checked archive.org for some stuff, but barely saw anything there. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I think getty images has some video now. Don't know if any of it is royalty free, though.

You aren't going to find royalty free raising of the flag at Iwo Jima.

However, as long as whatever you do is tasteful, no one is going to give a ****.

CAN'T LET THE TERRISTS WIN.

I would give you some clips of stuff we've done, but there's nothing really epic about this war.

Hehe it was funny, just as I typed this, EOD came over the radio with "FIRE IN THE HOLE, FIRE IN THE HOLE, FIRE IN THE HOLE"

Wait wait wait, you mean nothing epic about the Army operations in this war?

Haha I jest I jest. I just saw a video last week of an artillery unit firing their guns directly into a city during the beginning of the war. As in, they had the guns paralell to the ground and were direct firing through the walls.

Can you imagine that? You're just chillaxin waiting to kill some cowboys and an artillery round comes through the wall, and sucks you out the other side along with it.

Damn.

Anyway, I agree, if it's used tastefully, nobody is going to *****. I'm sure it';s been done 100s of times before.

82nd. Im not looking for anything epic. This is just a collection of interviews with a few local veterans. I just need to pretty it up by tomorrow.

Well... Yeah. The Army hasn't really done anything Epic like... Iwo Jima or D-Day, in this war.

I mean, About the most epic thing we've done is the 173rd dropping in to Afghanistan, and the DZ was already secured by SF before they landed.

But As far as the Arty, yeah, That's what we do ;)

There's nothing epic in a desert war.

Or in a jungle war for that matter. You need to get better screenwriters for these wars.

Great field marshal in an outstandingly desolate and boring setting. Poor fellow.
