can anyone (in your spare time) make me a desktop. i having truouble running the program. this stupid error message pops up and it doesnt go away for like 100 clicks.
it say "the F [http://forums.massassi.net/html/frown.gif]my hard drive) drive cannot load blackbox.exe" then there are 3 buttons to click, cancel, try again, and continue.

so if anyone could give me a link to download a cool desktop or one of your own, that would be great to have, thanks a lot.

Or not.

I wouldn't know how to fix that ravage. I haven't really used Blackbox, I opted for xoblite instead. I haven't any problems with switching desktops with it. Then again, I do it the same way I always have, via the display properties. You might want to try contacting Dormouse, I do believe he's using it and he seemed to know a lot more about Blackbox than I did.

Your shell's been corrupted. Abort, if you're using windows XP or Win2k hit control+alt+delete, go into the task manager, start a new task "explorer.exe" to get your old windows desktop back, and uninstal (if you want to, you can reinstall) blackbox.

Sounds like you need a good friendly reinstall.. no idea hyow you broke it though, i've had very few problems with mine and nothing like that.. i can't see how a desktop would change that, or style rather.

sorry abou that, i was in a rush. it really didnt make sense, haha.

that error message happens on most programs. i have figured out the problem. BUT NOT THE SOLUTION. its this thing called "wupdater", and that makes me from installing programs. like for fun i found i game called High Heat Major League Baseball 2004 and i kept pressing the install buttton, and it didnt work. so i went to ctrl+alt+delete and went to processes. there was thing thing called wupdater so i figured it wouldnt hurt to "end process" so i did.

the program ended and the High Heat Major League Baseball 2004 install thing started to run. by then i clicked it 50 times. AND GUESS WHAT HAPPENED?!!?!THERE WERE 50 SETUPS GOING ON.ha.

end of that. except everytime i have to go to processes and end it.

so i gave up on samurize, blackbox, litestep, geoshell, and other programs like that.

soooooooo........ what im asking if anybody knows a cool dektop theme that i can download i puton to my comp that would be great.

I'm no expert, but it looks like you may have a malware program or something that is using up your ram (assumably, this is why your system speeds up after closing the task).

Also, I currently prefer to run stock windows xp w/ classic style. I've been doing a lot of 3d rendering/editing with adobe premiere/after effects, so i've turned off all unnnecessary eye candy to free up as much system resources that i can for the real long rendering work.

wupdater.exe is an automatic update program that's packaged in with windows. But it's Blackbox killing your RAM--it's a hog.

Strange you should say that, Yoshi. Blacbbox.exe clocks in at 3m of ram and 9m of virtual memory for me [http://forums.massassi.net/html/wink.gif]

There /is/ something seriously wrong with your system though, and most likely it's some sort of spy/ad/malware, dig up a copy of spybot search and destroy, and adaware, run those, find a good anti-virus program [AVG i hear is very good], run that.

If that all doesn't fix about 200 problems, then it might be time for you to try reinstalling/repairing windows as it sounds like some of your system files and programs may be corrupted somehow.
