Some guy makes a decent argument for this in his analysis of recent video. The part about the still frame makes it especially sketchy. The guy is also like what, in his 70s and on dialysis?

To be fair they reckon he died of typhoid about 2 years ago but theres no physical proof for them to verify it.

Well if there isn't any reason to believe that it happened, then why do people insist that videos like the recent ones are fake?

The article does indicate that the video is most likely a fake, and shows how unprofessional and rushed the video really is, as is its organization. Bin Laden is dead, or at least did not make that video.

EDIT: Here's a theory: Bin Laden is injured and/or deformed, in a way that his public appearance would not be convenient. So he takes old footage of himself and records his voice over them. That would explain how he is speaking about current events.

Having telecommunications experience, I know how easy it can be to manipulate footage of any kind and make it something it's not.

This looks like a prime example, of course, I can't prove it, per say.

To be fair, the only thing that Laden's death will satisfy is America's juvenile lust for revenge.
