I tried downloading some Levels for MotS but The Emperor's Reach Parts 1-4 won't download its giving me an error

Those are the only ones I see so far that won't download .(

I looked through their files on the server to see if there was anything that might look like those files (we moved from a windows to a linux server and sometimes, at least on our site, the case-sensitive thing caused some problems), but I don't see anything. You may try sending Ryan an email or something. He stops in every once in a while.

I did a google search on emp1.zip, which is the file name indicated, and the top result was for filefront. I became suspicious and did a search for 6000.zip, which is a level I made, and it showed up on filefront as well. Did those guys just mine all our files and copy them to their server? Blargh :(

Brian, those filenames are kind of generic, try something else.

6000.zip indeed contains my level, however, and I never submitted it to them. They have tons of files without a "submitted by" user associated.

It's not about a lawsuit, it's about respect for the work of others. If someone came to me and said, "hey, can I mirror all of your files on my site?" I'd respond, "sure, do you mind putting a link or a massassi button in return?"

It's just speculation. I don't know of anyone else that hosts 6000 Block, though.

At the same time, it had given me false hope that I was going to find SavageX's Space Soldiers SP level there a few weeks ago. :[

I just noticed that my RotE level is on there with RotE 2's description but with screen shots from dark forces! WTF is up with that?

Tons of the mots mod files have the same 2 df shots. Looks like they weren't intelligent enough to also steal the shots.

Haha, I would be very happy too to get my hands on that thing. Kinda sucks knowing that someone out there in the world someone has a piece of work I made that I can't find myself :(
