Either Canada is having an excellent economy right now or ours is turning to **** and I'm not aware of it.
Code to the left of him, code to the right of him, code in front of him compil'd and thundered. Programm'd at with shot and $SHELL. Boldly he typed and well. Into the jaws of C. Into the mouth of PERL. Debug'd the 0x258.

yet there's no parity in product prices. a car is still a couple to a few thousand $ more and ipods are still 50 to 100 $ more. when the dollar dropped here in canada 25 years ago the prices of things matched by the minute.
i want parity!!!!

The real question i wonder is.
Crappy American economy or great Canadian?
2007-09-24, 9:23 AM #28
Crappy American. Our markets may be doing alright at the moment, but it is at the cost of a strong dollar.
"Flowers and a landscape were the only attractions here. And so, as there was no good reason for coming, nobody came."

Aye the USD is sinking relative to most countries. It's now $2.02 to £1, whereas in the past for several years it generally hovered around $1.60 to $1.70.
It's causing countries with large reserves of USD to get pretty jittery about it and consider converting their cash which, if my dodgy understanding of economics is right, would further devalue the dollar.
