Just got back from Resident Evil 3...

Before you read, I will NOT spoil the movie for you. All I can say is, it was awesome.

Please note, I have not played any resident evil game, and have not seen the second resident evil due to not having a chance prior to watching the movie.

Well, what can I say. I hardly ever go to these kind of movies, but today I had nothing better to do and I was invited.

Any how, the movie itself, is AWESOME. The visual effects were pretty good, the action was intense. As for the acting... it was, well it was average. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't great. All in all, its a good movie.

There is a little bit of a let down at the end, but it doesn't make you leave with a bad taste or feeling, and the movie keeps you on edge most of the time, shocking and explosive! There are also some things that are some what confusing at first (especially since I had not seen the previous movie) but they get explained in due time.

I recommend this movie, not for the horror, but for the action and for continuation of the story.

Its worth watching.

Cheers.

yeah i saw it. just like the other movies it completely destroys the canon storyline from the games. it was all "lol lets put random characters from the games into it with no explanation of who they are lol"

someone should be ashamed for destroying a good game series with crap movies.

However not everyone has played the games. I for one LOVED this movie. Its good for a movie. Adaptations from game-movie aren't always easy, or entertaining except for the major hardcore fans. They had to take into consideration as many people as they could.

I heard it was crap on top of crap with crap on top. So many layers of awful it hurt. I'll wait for it to be on USA or TBS or TNT before I bother watching it.

If you don't like Resident Evil movies you probably won't like this one. I got what I expected. I wasn't expecting much. I like the RE movies. I liked this new one. It's probably the weakest installment yet. I hope they don't make anymore but, unfortunately, they left it wide open for one.

I used to feel that way but after listening to her nonsensical babble on the commentary tracks of a couple different movies I have a hard time watching her without being reminded of how incredibly dumb she is. Still, she is good eye candy.

The games story lines are little more than the typical zombie crap from the past 40 years. At least the movies offer something relatively fresh compared to that.

It's been known for a while now that the movies don't follow the games very well. They share the title and similar characters, and that's about it. The game fans have had five years now to realize this. Get over it.

This is a very good reason.

I like the games and I'm not disappointed. The movies would really be bad if they tried to follow the games faithfully.

It's a Resident Evil movie, there's no way it's good.

I thought the first one was entertaining, and Milla was good in it.

terrible movie.

poor cinematography as well. I hate oversaturation *especially in movies starring attractive women) and the number of cuts in every action scene is sloppy directing.

I'll probably wait til this is on DVD to see it. I prefer the game storyline. Having said that, I'm sure it's a lot easier to create a world in a game where the story can be played out. For this, I can be a little forgiving on the movies. Although, I'd really like to see a RE movie that is faithful to the first game's storyline. While I've already played through it, it would be different watching it as a movie.

As for Milla...I thought she was pretty hot in the fifth element, not so much in these movies though. Maybe it was the orange hair.
Who made you God to say "I'll take your life from you"?

she was 21 when she made the fifth element. she's 32 now. that's all it really takes.

I still think she's hot, but in all of her new movies they use an oversaturation filter to cover it up.

So it was awesome?
Well then...

To cover what up?

I would like to say that the best thing about RE:E, at least when I saw it, was the trailer for Ironman. I didn't expect much from the title when I heard about it. I hope it doesn't suck. You can download the trailer here.

That's ridiculous. Most 30ish year old women who were hot 21 year old girls are smokin hot in their early 30s. It's almost like they still have "babyfat" in their early post-teen twenties.

I'm not saying it isn't ridiculous.
