Has Uwe Boll actually made a good movie?

It's possible. I saw this trailer at the theater today.

Looks terrible.

It's based on a video game after all.

I would never have known that if not for the stupid "Dungeon Siege" added to the title. Well, besides the fact it is an Uwe Boll film.

I am really tired of the line.
"I will have my vengeance :argh:"

I thought it looked like a big bowl of cheese too. The actors are acting too much.
My blawgh.

No, it really isn't. You see, Uwe Boll doesn't make movies. What he creates are black holes of retardation. It's really quite phenomenal that he can craft sounds and images together in such a way as to actually bend space-time into a spiraling vortex of stupidity.

I've only ever seen one of his movies, Bloodrayne. I bought the DVD but only because it was bundled with the PC game which I still haven't played.

I thought the trailer didn't look bad but the big screen makes things look better sometimes. I'll probably rent it when it comes out.

I tried to watch Bloodrayne. I liked the opening credits, but about five minutes after that I was ready to shoot myself, and I've got a pretty high tolerence for crap movies.
I didn't really feel strongly either way about House of the Dead or Alone in the Dark, other than being annoyed for sitting through two terrible movies, but ruining Bloodrayne really ticked me off. It's a pretty awesome game, you should definately give it a go.

I liked the XBox demo. I picked up the first one used for the Gamecube and then number two for the PC, just haven't got around to really playing either one for more than 15 minutes. One of these days...

On that note, Boll's Bloodrayne 2 is out on DVD...

For some reason that brought back horrid memories of the Dungeons & Dragons movie. :gonk:

Yeah, there is a sequel to that as well that I've never seen. You would think a movie with dragons would almost have to be cool. Somebody actually has to try hard to mess these things up.

The choice of actors made me think of past movies they had been in, which made it silly.

i saw the sequel... it takes place many MANY years later with only one character returning form the previous movie (the bald evil dude) so instead of a true sequel which continues the story and maybe explains WTFH happened at the end of the first movie we get a crappy made for sci-fi channel turdfest

I was browsing through Best Buy today and noticed that there is a "Director's Cut" of Alone in the Dark.

I also meant to add that my standard for what is a terrible movie was recently lowered after I suffered through the fifth Highlander movie. I'm a fan of some of the franchise and this movie was so bad it was straight to the SciFi channel in America. Quite possibly the worst movie ever made.

HAHA! Gosh I forgot about that movie.

I liked when the Cleric in the party gets swallowed by the frost dragon and the heroes blow it up and suddenly find chunks for the cleric. Rofl.

But yea, its crap. It has possibly the worste lich I've ever seen. ROFL I live on treetops. :3

I assume this "Director's Cut" changes the movie down to 3 minutes?
