Did I miss the thread or something? This is the first episode of the season isn't it?

Claire's pulling a Clark Kent. Boring. And where's Hiro? Oh, he just came on!

He's not really dead.

They need to hire better actors. Half the character are really annoying. If Syler had done a better job in the first season the second would have had more potential.

Dammit I missed the episode.

Heroes is bad and cool at the same time.

Oh, and more stuff borrowed from Watchmen woo!

watch it online. :)

Anyway, I must say I was somewhat disappointed in the premiere. Not that it wasn't enjoyable... but NOTHING HAPPENED. It was like "Ok now we all know each other and we know what we're all capable of. Let's all go into hiding and pretend to be normal."

And Parkman got a divorce? That pissed me off.

The show's pacing was slow to start last season too. They basically just had to show what happened to everyone since the end of last season.
Pissed Off?
2007-09-25, 12:50 PM #15
And they didn't. They showed what happened to about half the characters.

And am I seriously the only one who's read Watchmen and sees that Heroes is still ripping it off?
2007-09-25, 1:34 PM #16
They hit all the main characters.

I'd hit Nikki.

That episode was boring. I really don't even feel like talking about it, it was just, blah.

They left out Nikki and Mikah and Sylar and I forget who else.

yeah but then they stupidly showed sylar in the preview for next week, spoiling that he's still alive... I so wanted to feel shivers up my spine when he showed up, but now i'll just be like "meh".

Mediocre episode. Kinda disappointed that Claire's stalker/soon-to-be-boyfriend was a "flier". Was hoping for something different.

Did anyone else think LotR when Parkman was listening to the little girl's dreams and heard "IIIIII SSEEEEE YYYOOOOOUUUU"?

I watched on NBC.com last night. That kinda sucked. The video player would abruptly quit, and I'd have to restart by browser. Many times, the video was choppy - there was no indication that any of it was being preloaded either.

I looked on iTunes, but they hadn't posted the episode. I'd much rather dl it off iTunes than spend 1 1/2 hours trying to watch a 52 minute show.

At least Amazon Unbox will have them, even though the file sizes are totally bloated.

Did you honestly think he was dead after his body was gone?

no.. but there's still always that question.

Did you think Peter was dead after he exploded?

My point is that someone who is suposed to be rumored as dead should *NOT* show up in the preview for the next week, unless we as the viewers know without a doubt that that character is still alive.

Well to be fair, they never tried to keep Sylar's return a secret. They released a preview clip at Comic Con I believe with the same exact clip from this upcoming episode.

Having not read anything or seen anything on Heroes besides that, I was really surprised the Petrelli brothers were back. I didn't know they were still on the cast.

Yeah, I was surprised at the Petrellis, but Sylar's return shouldn't be a surprise. They showed where he body was and a trail of blood to the manhole cover. He wasn't dead.

Why surprised at the Petrellis?

We knew Peter would survive because of the episode set in the future. Nathan was the only question mark and odds were on him surviving because he could just fly Peter up to a certain height and then fly away from him.

That was the future where NYC was destroyed - the future was not set once he and Nathan blew up in the sky.

Yes, but it was a future where Peter was the one who blew up NYC. It stands to reason that if he survived that explosion he would survive the 'fixed timeline' version too.

Peter was an idiot for not flying himself.

He was unable to control the nuke power, so what makes you think he could focus enough to control another one while getting ready to blow up?
