As was pointed out in this thread, Heroes wasn't going to be available on iTunes because of some pricing disagreement between NBC Universal and Apple.

This was a serious concern to me, because the three shows I was going to watch this fall, all fall under the NBC Universal umbrella: Heroes, The Office, and Stargate: Atlantis. Oh yeah, I don't have cable or satellite, or even a bunny-ear antenna.

NBC is going to show Heroes and The Office for free on their site (the price is really in the framerate, but anyway...), but I hadn't seen anything about Stargate: Atlantis being available on iTunes or Amazon Unbox. Neither site seems to advertise beforehand.

After asking several places, I finally found out that yes, season 4 of SGA will be on iTunes. I wouldn't object to torrents or whatever as a last resort, but I'm willing to pay a couple of bucks a week for a legal download. Anyway, I was sweating bullets for a little bit.

I just wait twenty minutes after the end of the show, then within about fifteen seconds I have an HD rip of SGA on my hard drive.

I never really got into SGA that much. I loved SG to death was a huge fan. Only missed the 2nd half of the last season, and have only seen the first season of SGA. I might get into it again now. Probably will wait till the movies come out and get the older seasons (By then) on DVD cheap.

SGA has been steadily improving since season 1.

They killed off Carson and replacing Weir though.

On the plus side, Kaylee and Carter

Weir is still there, just not as much. It's stupid that they killed Carson, he was one of the better characters. Tayla should have died, she is a terrible character.

She's also a man.

Which one was Carson? Was he on the team? Or just chilling on Atlantis?

Yea I remember hearing Carter was going to SGA.

Carson was the doctor. Kaylee is a better doctor... Mmmm..

And agreed. They already have a Teal'c like character (Ronin) who is so much better than Tayla, who I think was originally designed as the Teal'c like character. But sucked.

Ronin originally sucked because he was just another typical badass-type character, but they have recently developed his back story enough to make him interesting.

I'm loving it all... it sucks that they find all kinds of cool stuff and then find a way to take it away, but it keeps the show moving.

Atlantis finds a ZPM, has it taken away, they find another one, get altantis running, have sheilds up etc etc, ZPM dies on them.

They find living ancients who bring the city back to life and the ancients get killed off by advanced replicators and then the city itself gets lost in space.... CRAZY!

But that was such a good episode

i stopped watching about 9 or 10 episodes into series 3, i might pick it up again sometime. Haven't even bothered with finishing SG1, the last series of that was painfully bad, i like to pretend it ends with them fishing by the pond at the end of 8.

4x01 and 2 leaked onto the internet last week. I think it's illegal in the US to download 'em before it airs (a felony, apparently).

But even though they're probably higher quality than the TV rips we'll see tonight, they're missing sound effects apparently.

Man the doctor died? He was cool.

But yea, I'm gonna have to pick it up again.
