I dunno about police issue stuff, but my boss was selling some once and my friends and I were tazering each other .. And it sucked.

Yea I'm totally sure that's like a lot worse. We could not drop to the ground, but we would like spazz out and scream like girls.

The problem with stun guns is it's a lot tougher to maintain contact. My friend got one and every time he tried to use it on me it just filled me with an intense, blind rage that caused me to jerk away and strike him repeatedly until I calmed down. Tasers don't really give the person getting shocked that luxury.

The electricity runs on the same frequency (?) that your brain uses to control voluntary muscle movement, and overpowers your brain's 'commands'. As such, your heart still beats, etc, but you can't do much of anything.

Around here, you're not allowed to carry a taser unless you've been tased yourself. So, that could be why.
