What's up everyone? I finally got out of that hell hole at Fort Bliss....and landed in a bigger one! God it's hot as hell here, and supposedly it's been strangely chilly for the country. Well, I'm stuck in the camp guarding detainees. Fun. Watching pissed off fanatics sleep and wipe themselves for 12 hours everyday is easily the most boring thing I've ever done. And after my company did so well at raids and convoy security. Such wasted potential. At least the shifts go by fast. Anyway, just thought I'd jump in real quick. I can get regular internet now, so I may be on more frequently.

Keep close watch on those buccaneers. They are a devious lot. They will at first appear to do nothing but in reality they are lulling you into a dangerous boredom and relaxation. When they then suddenly cut your throat, it's already too late to be sorry.

12 hour RTO shifts suck worse

12 on 12 off for 10 months thusfar, 5 to go. I want to kill myself.
