Did BIOSHOCK live up to your expectations?

Well it didn't for me. It was waaaay too easy, and unlike system shock, never really scared me. I found it good, but not BEST GAME EVA LUL, good.

I absolutely loved it. I didn't give it any extreme expectations, and just enjoyed it for it's artistry, creative gameplay, and engaging story. In the end, my only complaints were the the ending was kind of lame, the meaningful decisions really weren't that meaningful, the game is almost too linear, but hides it well, and lastly the powers were pretty dumb and limited. I expected some really awesome powers, and it didn't deliver.

I thought the demo was amazingly good, but sadly it didn't run well enough on my computer to justify buying it.. At least not till after I can get a 2nd SLI graphics card.
If you choose not to decide, you still have made a choice.

Lassev: I guess there was something captivating in savagery, because I liked it.

Yes. It was too easy, but my expectation was for a well executed, engrossing, and pretty FPS, and on those grounds it definitely delivered.

I never bothered to buy it because I *knew* it was going to disappoint the first moment I saw the trailer.

Can Tiberium Empire post a thread without a useless poll?

Well Rob, Explain how one could easily view the opinions without a poll?

And Sarn it runs fine on maxed everything on a X1950, so whatever you have must really suck.

Anyway.

It was nothing like what they promised. It's still an amazing game, just not what they said it'd be.

Although i do think made a really good engine. It looks like an FMV from an old adventure game when you start off and see the tower.

Rob, could you please stop making every thread suck?

After completing it, I thought the game was a joke. And it was made worse by the fact that so many clowns were giving it 10/10. There is zero replayability, the combat was unsatisfying, the weapons and plasmids were underwhelming, the hacking was repetitive, the endings were laughable, and it got so much hype that it was unbelievable.

On the plus side, the plot twist was cool and the graphics were nice (but not impressive). And that's about it. Oh, and the sound design was pretty nice.

Yeah, they made a really good engine. I don't know why they named it Unreal though, do you think people might get confused with the other Unreal engine?

I lurved it. Beat it once with the bad ending, started playing again to beat it with the good ending, then Halo 3 came out. I'm probably going to end up running through it a bunch more times before it's really lost it's interest. It has enough replayability to hold my attention. I don't need multiplayer in every game I own.

All that said... story was awesome, but after Ryan's demise, the rest of it felt rushed.
