BWHAHAHAH

That is just funny.
They got Halflife going for around 2 or 3 minutes before the CPU blew up.

Genius.

That's the sort of thing my demented mate Nick (from uni) would pull!

Bloody hell...

The main problem with running a PC in a fridge would be the condensation and freexing of water. Water + leccy = nono, unless it was in a waterproof box or was lined with those drying crystal packet things.

Weve got about a dozen 486 120mhz SBCs at work. We use them for vehicle diagnostics. Im sure one could be overclocked to 240 without too much difficulty...

This is why i live i Canada: Nobody here is stupid enough/smart enough (take your pick) to try that kind of thing. Interesting concept though. Imagine trying that with a 3.0ghz machine [smiles evily]...

As Forsakahn has said, we Canucks are stupid nor smart enough to try something like that... though I had a P2 350 that I OC'd to 450... nothing big, but i came in to my room one day after it'd been running a week... it was pretty hot >_> But yes... I'm not going to stick it in a freezer with Spirits and OC it to 5 times it's capacity... that's just stupid.... WHO PUTS A COMPUTER IN A FREEZER!?

I'd like to meet the guy who actually said "HEY!!! Let's grab a 486, stuff it in with the Jack Danials, and overclock it so it'll play Half Life!"

Cause i'd laugh and slap him evilly.

Now that was great. They should patent a cooling system to keep your drinks and processor cool at the same time. Get some freezers, take of the labels and the serial numbers, slap on a label of your own and your in business.

condensation + CPU = bad....

But that's pretty trippy to look at... :P bet they could OC it enough to even out with the liquid nitro, clock it so high it could almost reach a couple hundred gHz [http://forums.massassi.net/html/cool.gif]
