i can't say i particularly enjoy his presence, but it's unfair to ban him unless he breaks a rule that deserves the appropriate punishment. And even then, he has to do something especially bad to get a permanent ban, which I don't think he's capable of.

how about the fact that absolutely everybody hates his worthless posts and he has repeatedly expressed his intention to never, ever improve them?

I think if he doesn't care what he writes, and nobody here cares to read what he writes, and he doesn't care that nobody reads it, he can move it to his livejournal where it belongs and get the hell off a public forum.
