[Sure, let's link to a site in which it promotes pirating. We don't condone that at allllll....genius]

GET IT!

It's quite good.

You probably shouldn't link to pirate bay.

Why not, it's a legit demo release and I got the best speeds with the torrent.

Yeah, but for the same reason you can't post a link to a video from the Colbert Report that's hosted on collegehumor, you can't post a legitimate link to torrent sites.

Bit Torrent is a legal means of downloading legal files.

There's no reason not to link directly to the torrent.

What others do with the URL after that...up to them.

Yeah but you could have picked a more..official site than a site that advocates pirating stuff?

C'mon man use your head.
Code to the left of him, code to the right of him, code in front of him compil'd and thundered. Programm'd at with shot and $SHELL. Boldly he typed and well. Into the jaws of C. Into the mouth of PERL. Debug'd the 0x258.

Aye my bad, I'll see if I can find a "legit" torrent site. In the mean time, that Yahoo! link is pretty fast I guess.

With the exception of Final Fantasy, I can't think of a single series worth a darn after the second sequel...

Call of Duty 4 is promising. Quake 3 was good, Quake 4 was pretty awesome.

Commander Keen 3+ was cool :v:

Quake 3 isn't after the second sequel. It is the second sequel. But Quake IV is a good example.

Tekken maybe. Certainly ISS on the playstation, but that's more a British/European thing. Err... there must be a Mario game better than Mario 3 on the NES (though that was the dog's...). Also Sonic and Knuckles.

Call of Duty 4 is the best in the series, you can take that to the bank.

Except quake4 wasn't that great, it was so blatantly average. The first few levels were fun because you were both inside and outside, and it felt like there was a big war going on (similar to CoD). But it was all downhill from there, back to ultra-tight corridors and stupid enemies jumping out yelling "kill you" endlessly. I was so bored.

Metal Gear Solid.
Total War.
Crash Bandicoot. [Since CTR was kickass.]
Splinter Cell.
Gran Turismo?
nope.

That's pretty accurate, IMO.

Ah my bad, I thought you meant the second sequel as in the second game in the series.

I actually thoroughly enjoyed it. I know I wasn't alone.

And the multiplayer was goddamn good, a shame it never really caught on :(

Also, UT2k4 :v:

Anyone downloaded the CoD4 demo yet? First impressions? I'm waiting for the Xbox Live Demo

I really like the direction they are taking. World war 2 bores you? Alright, Lets skip ahead 60 years!

Keeps crashing on my comp. A shame, really. I wanted to play it.

It's really odd when I think about it. The Bioshock demo ran flawlessly, and the CoD4 demo crashes. I realize my processor isn't the newest thing on the block, but my video card is decent, and like I said, the Bioshock demo has no trouble. Neither do any of the Orange Box games. Weird.

Does anyone else not like those FPS where there's constantly some scratchy voiced radio chatter in your ear while you're trying to kill stuff? I find it really distracting.

Why does nobody ever set War Games in the Korean war?
nope.
2007-10-13, 7:23 AM #26
Because the Korean War hasn't officially ended?

Many people don't really know how wars like the Korean war played out, especially the 13-year-old demographic these games cherish. Atleast people know that Nazis = Very Bad People.

Hey, Mercenaries was set in Korea, Albeit way after the first war, But it got the whole point of "North Korea-Crazy and Evil" across really well.
