This is the story of Yvonne, the women who helped me survive the worst times of my life...

Long story short:
-------------------------------
Met girl online.
After 4 years of talking online, we grew to be friends, so close that we loved each other.
met her, and was so happy to be with her at last.
We were soulmates
-----------------------------

Long Version

When I was 13 years old, I signed onto AOL chat, specifically UK SCIFI chat.
After a few weeks there, got to know a girl called Yvonne. She was 3 - 4 years older than me, and loved stargate, which is what we talked about. But as time went on, through AOLIM, we talked about everything.

After 6 months were talking everyday online. She lived near London, whereas I lived on teh south Coast of England. The 9 months after our meeting online, we rang each otehr up on Christmas day.
1 month later she rang again.
As the months and years progressed, we talked more and more, not just online, but on phone.
By the time I was 19 and she was 23, we would ring each other up by mobile phone every day. Most of the time, I would ring her, she didnt have the money to use her phone much, (money is tight to her, she was in large debt).
We admitted to each other we were soul mates, and that if we were still alone and single by 40 years old, we would get married heheh. We said goodbye like lovers would, only our relationship was purely of friendship.

When I got used and abused so to speak by my grrr *(*)^( first gf, she helped me through it. No joke, I think I may have committed suicide if it wasn't for Yvonne.

Then I got to uni, and since I was so close to London, we met up. And running up to her and hugging her ( and no, she wasnt a 40 yr old man) at the train station was one of the happiest moments in my life. She was moving to scotland soon, but didnt know when.
But sadly, when I got back to uni, a few months passed, and I lost contact with her. Her mobile was lost and it has been 7 months without hearing her sweet voice.

important bit
-------------------------
Until today, I didnt know what had happened to her.
but today, I found her work number (which she used to ring me up from) and I rang it.

She is gone now. She has moved to scotland, with no contact number. She no longer has my address since we moved, and I dont have hers. she lost her mobile and so lost my number.

The woman I loved more than any other deserved, is gone from my life forever.

Its hard when you realise that someone you imagined would always be there, someone you loved, may one day simply become lost to you.

This is a sad day indeed.

Discuss your losses.
Lovers you lost, Soulmates who drifted away, family members who died.

[edit] damn this post looks long and boring

Sorry to hear that [http://forums.massassi.net/html/frown.gif]

There was a girl that I was fond of throughout jr. high. Never really got up the courage to tell her how I felt. She ended up moving away, and I lost contact with her before I got the chance to tell her. I still hate myself for that [http://forums.massassi.net/html/frown.gif]

If you really love this girl, you'd do everything you could to find out where she is, right? Go find a copy of the Scottish White Pages or something and look her up.

I wouldn't give up hope completely. Perhaps you can still find her. Get someone in Scotland to look her up, or do you guys have a mutual friend?

Phonebook?

You could get her last name from the place where she worked (if you don't have it already).

Hire a PI! or, if you know where she lived, go around nd ask some neighbors. they may have some idea where she went. at least that could give you a smaller area to look in.

On the bright side, if you go to Scotland and track her down she'll probably be swept off her feet and realize that you were meant to be together. Or something.

Seriously. Turn off your computer and find this woman.

Yes. Find her. I don't know if switchboard.com works for over there or not, but maybe you've got something like it.

Maybe she was a spy who works for the CIA/KGB/MI6 and her real name isn't Yvonne and now she's been assigned to a super top secret mission...dun dun dun....

Anyway, more seriously...do either of you still visit the AOLIMs that this whole relationship started from?...After four years, you dont have her email?

I believe very strongly in love and hope. If you believe you are soulmates, then you must start looking for her as soon as possible. I cannot stress enough how important it is that you look for her. You're in England, she's in Scotland. She's not very far away. Don't give up so easy.

There are so many things you can do to find her. Who knows, it could even be as simple as using a search engine. Search for possible screen names, emails, frequented forums, blogs, etc. Or you can get a phone book, or hire a professional. Anyone can be found. It simply depends on how much effort you're willing to put into this, which I hope is a lot. It is your soulmate afterall.

Seriously, don't give up. I gave up once, and now the one girl who ever really understood or appreciated me is gone. I didn't even noticed that I loved her until it was too late.

Sorry to hear this.

But if you and her loved each other as much as you claimed, wouldn't she at least leave SOMETHING to remain in contact? If you find her, I would bring that up.

But if you don't want to/can't find her, I'm sure there are others out there. I'm sure it is going to be hell to start over with somebody else. But perhaps this one won't run off on you.

Yeah, but England's not that big in the first place. [http://forums.massassi.net/html/tongue.gif]

Maybe it's all proportional. If so, then in Rhode Island, 3 inches is a long distance relationship.

Let's see met a girl in 2001 over a game of JK, got together with her a month later, stayed together for 9 months. Over that time she really helped my self confidence and made me start doing things to better my life. When we broke up I was still in love, tried to be her friend all through her "I don't want another relationship again" even though she was about 13-15 when this went on and she was dating 20+ year old guys in NY. Last few months we were really in deep arguments and we said our goodbyes.

Though it was my fault we really got into deep arguments, she sounded like she was willing to give friendship another chance. I can't stand her pedophile relationships through and she hates me saying anything about'em. So I'm just staying out of her life.

Hurts alot, we seemed to be meant for each other but things are out of my control.

Though on the issue of just friends...

I have one friend who really helped me alot too, she and I used to talk a ton. She was older by about 4 years or so, a couple years back she got really busy in her life and we don't get to talk much. Though I can send her emails and she'll reply once in awhile, she's too busy to chat like we used to. Kinda depressing since she used to get me to open up to her most of all and I miss her.

But ya know, you could always look up info on Scotland. Maybe call around and such, or look up the phone books for towns she might have mentioned. You might be branded a stalker, but either way you'll probably be able to rest easier at least trying something.

like everyone else has said, if you really loved this women than you would do anything to find her, and even if you were just friends then it would feel good to be reunited with someone that you were this close to.

My current GF of about a year is in japan right now. We live in oregon and its just killing me that she is that far away. before she left there was so much stress going around that I almost lost her. but I realized how much I loved her and how much I was willing to do to anything to keep her.

again there is almost anything you can do to find her. you just need to try, go and hire someone, Walk the entire country side and the cities yelling her name. do anything but man, losing a friend like that will destroy you, you need to do something to find her
