So the Knights Templar pardoned...

I'm sorry, given heresy reprieve. It only took about 700 years...

I'm not entirely sure if people here are interested in this, but I am of the firm opinion that everyone should find everything as interesting as I do. :D

Me: I have no idea
Fincham: I meant where are you sitting. This wasn't an existential question.

I'm interested. But that's only because I love history.

Well I'm glad they've been pardoned even after being tortured and killed. What a forgiving move.

If religious idiots didn't hold back science for nearly a thousand years, we'd probably be halfway across the galaxy by now.

Wrong move! As everyone knows, in the 2070s the Knights Templar have turned into a fascist creep-organization who want to get the world rid of technology!

Yoink!

... ... one of the few good parts from DX:IW.

... then again, how would that be different from any other religious organization? Oh skittles.

Now its not religion holding us back, its ridiculous paperwork and legal/moral crap.

And politics...

I'm not sure which ones worse.

I can never remember the name of the king who trumped up all the charges against them. Was it Charles II? Either was they were total BS from the get go. It was just a political move. I dare say many of the Templars deserved it though, even if not for what they were charged with.

Or wiped our selves out. I'm guessing the latter, but I doubt we would have progressed all that faster. It's not like the they progressed all that quickly in the several thousand year between The peak of the Egyptian empire and the fall of the Roman empire. It's just that by the renaissance, science had finally picked enough speed so that it could really take off.

Anything involving the Knights Templar is purely conspiracy. I don't believe this for a second. What I really want to know is why Yahoo News (more like Yahjews Jews) is trying to pull the wool over our eyes. What do they have to hide?

Yeah, it's not like there have been any massive leaps and bounds in science since the church started to ease up on various beliefs in the last 400 years.

And congrats to the Templar...or something.

It's nice to know that the church expedites corrections like this. It's only been a few hundred years.
