Is damned near impossible. I install it, patch it and install the warlords mod (The only real reason i care). Now it just won't bloody work. Vista DEP keeps closing it and when i try to manualy override it, it tells me that HW2 needs DEP to run... What the christ? Any help?

(ninja edit) It's running on 98/Me compatability mode and "Run as Admin" still not working

All in all Vista is actual rather stable, it just has the small little ***** things that will annoy you to the point of ripping your scalp out. For instance, you can't save files to the root of a hard drive, and it placed shortcuts to my documents that I (an administrator) do not have the sufficient rights to access. Stick with XP.

Or like homeworld 2 not working because of crap you can't turn off.

HW2 works for me, at least it (And a couple of other things to) did after I updated my video card drivers.

What the hell is DEP?

Sounds like a problem with the pre-keyboard interface.

Hey when is Service Pack 1 coming out anyway? I know theres a leaked version, im just too paranoid to try it.
