Moving Issues, need your help!
2007-10-19, 3:22 PM #1
With the move there is always problems to be expected. That's where you all come in.

Right now, the forums, and the massassi.net pages are online, and should be working. (Some of you may not be able to see the front page yet. If you get a big white page that says "holding" then your DNS hasn't changed yet. Just wait and it will)

What I'd like you guys to help me with is to browse through this stuff, downloading random things, visiting deep innards of the site, and basically find broken/404'ed stuff. Throw a link here, describe the issue, and I'll try and fix it.

jkhub.net / commandchamber.net / woggle.org have not been moved yet, but they will be soon. Once they've moved I'll need help from you all to test them also.

What's with the SOTD? And the past SOTDs? Did it go back a week?

I'm aware of the issue with the SOTD, I'll have to work with brian on that one. He has some massively overcomplex script running it, so it's like :argh:
2007-10-19, 8:25 PM #5
Code:
delete from tblUser where username='The Mega-ZZTer'

Problem solved.
Code to the left of him, code to the right of him, code in front of him compil'd and thundered. Programm'd at with shot and $SHELL. Boldly he typed and well. Into the jaws of C. Into the mouth of PERL. Debug'd the 0x258.

Fixed. Thanks.

Speaking of news, why not update them regarding Brian leaving us and server news? I think I have news-posting abilities (somehow), but not sure. PM?

Edit: No I don't

Yay the DNS finally went through, things are at least as fast as they used to be.

Now we need to get rid of the frames on the front page.

Because, well, frames.
gbk is 50 probably

MB IS FAT

jkhub.net is back up and running. All issues seem to have been resolved.

Even a few that were issues before the server move....

And btw,

THANK YOU COOLMATTY! :D :D :D :D

Heh, no problem guys. Anyway, I know if I hadn't picked up Massassi, someone else would have. Massassi is still in good hands :D
2007-10-20, 7:30 PM #12
I would have considered it actually.

I FOUND SOMETHING BROKEN :awesome:

rbots.massassi.net doesn't work. Of more importance is that the mini-button rotator on the main page has a link and an image reference to the subdomain, which isn't working. So if rbots.* is closed permanently, then that link and image reference should be removed.

rbots is back.

The Millenium link on the main page doesn't seem to be working. It just leads to a default Apache page.

I'll fix that. Meanwhile, SOTD is completely fixed, courtesy some help from Brian.

The "Corporate" theme for the forums doesn't seem to work anymore. It's all back to the gr33n.

I will not post here if I can read my postcount without mouseover or pretending that I can count in other base systems!

If you mean the corporate theme, it's always been that way.

And stop being so anti-massassi. Massassi is GREEN.

The Massassi Fancy 3.6 still has base 10 postcounts too. .(

Apparently it always did.

Regardless, I've changed it.

You missed http://jkhub.massassi.net/

It should point to the same place as jkhub.net :colbert:

*cough*

Fixed Millennium also.

I'm no corporate sleaze. I use Massassi Fancy.

Although they're fixed now... so.. good job. I guess.

Wraa, it didn't work like that before! :gonk: It was like a mirror domain... http://jkhub.massassi.net/projects/ should work, etc.

In landscape mode of the iPod touch, it works better but in portrait, not so much, I have to zoom/flick a lot.

2007-10-23, 4:22 PM #33
It's not a bookmark, it's a forum sig on DF-21... and FINE. :gbk:

Was looking at my chat.woggle profile and noticed that I didn't have an image anymore. I tried submitting one and got this on top:
Code:
Warning: move_uploaded_file(pics/Vegiemaster.jpg) [function.move-uploaded-file]: failed to open stream: Permission denied in /home/woggle/public_html/chat/editpicture.php on line 11

Warning:  move_uploaded_file() [function.move-uploaded-file]: Unable to move '/tmp/php4OZrw3' to 'pics/Vegiemaster.jpg' in /home/woggle/public_html/chat/editpicture.php on line 11
In the body, the obvious generic error:
Code:
 Error
An error occurred during processing. The following is error data:
 Unable to move uploaded file.

The search function in the levels/mods area does not work.

I'm saddened that no one already mentioned it.

I never used the search function once even during JK's heyday.

A lot of people use the search. I've seen a lot of sigs with links directly to searches that show all their levels. I find it incredibly useful. Anyway, it's probably a path/permissions issue like everything else has been.
2007-11-08, 9:44 AM #38
Yeah it'll get fixed in the next few days, as with Seriously.

The Calendar function on the forums doesn't seem to be working. It is there and perfectly accessible, but won't go past December 2006.

It's because Massassi is stuck in the past.

P.S. CM fix whatever needs to be fixed so I can play the Massassi SP contest submissions!!
