Stage Builder announced tonight. Of particular interest is this:

Quote:
That’s right! You can use your Wi-Fi connection to send stages you’ve made to Nintendo! (However, you can’t submit repeatedly. Maybe just once per day?)

And a stage selected from the entire daily collection will be sent from Nintendo to your Wii. A stage made by someone else will come to you over the Internet once per day!

DUN DUN DUNNNNNN! That’s the shocking truth. This means you’ll be able to experience a new stage every day—the flavor of the day, if you will. However, the plan is for that stage to vanish once one day has passed. It’s a once-in-a-lifetime encounter.

You can submit in both the Snapshots mode and the Stage Builder mode, allowing everyone to enjoy the creations of others. The fun of sharing is one of the ways that I wanted to take advantage of Wi-Fi for something other than pure battling.

I don't think this week could get any better, even if Falcon is confirmed.

Also, Dedede can fly like Kirby.

I think the first thing I'll do is try to remake Silph Co. and Hyrule Castle from the first SSB, if they aren't included already.

I doubt it will be that powerful.

I was reading, and the only thing I could think the entire time was "You better be able to send levels."

And then they said you could send levels, and I was like "aughghhhhyes"

Looks pretty friggin awesome. I hope they have a lot more non-square objects though. Building a level out of crates isn't horribly amazing. Themes would be nice too.

Judging from the screenshot, you'll only be able to place lame prefabs. It's not like you could recreate Hyrule Castle.

Unless there are a bunch of hyrule-ish prefabs.

Rob, if you can faithfully recreate Hyrule Castle then I will give you $25.00. I promise.

Hyrule Castle's layout was fairly simple: Slope on the left side, lowered area with a small tunnel and platform on the right, and long flat area with three ascending platforms in the middle. It should be no problem to recreate.
