weird ragdoll glitch in halo 3

my boys and their friends were playing and one of the guys got blown up. he was thrown a distance and his character hit an overhang/archway top directly on his chest. when the hit happened the character stopped due to the hit and the black portions between the coloured armour on his arms and neck stretched to at least 3 or 4 times it's regular length. the coloured armour stayed as it is but the black parts just stretched way out.
unfortunately the replay is lost (or is it? the console has been turned on and off several times since) or i'd post it here.
anyone else see this?

which leads to the question, how do i capture and save something like that?

Lots of games have stretchy ragdolls.

Hitman 2 had the best, you could use the nailgun cheat then grab a guy's leg and stretch him all the way across the level.

There's a video of people abusing the physics by using a dumpster to fly.

Basically the idea is, you flip a dumpster over, climb in with a friend, and jump repeatedly at the same time. You'll take off and start flying around the map.

Evad, the save film is still there more than likely. It saves a cache of the last 20 or so and overwrites as it goes. Find it, cut the relevant part with the save films clip function, and upload it to your file share.

Or just plug the whole 360 into your computer and use a capture card.

First method means anyone with Halo 3 can watch it though. Funky ragdoll stretching is pretty much old news however.
