I was just wondering if anyone here had managed to get themselves in on the beta and/or have already bought the game and played it.

I drawn towards the game by the story line which is quite different from that seen in a lot of mmo's at the moment and seems to mix a good deal of Sci-Fi and yet have some traditional fantasy bits to it.

Also, having played WoW for over a year now on and off I'd like something that is a little more "user-involved" instead of WoW's click and wait kind of technique. (this is coming from someone who has two lvl 70's and is involved in raiding the end game SSC/TK/MH instances at the moment....not at BT yet)

If I don't find a good mmo to take over from WoW in the near future I'm not sure if I'm going to continue to play them. I've got myself a Wii now which is great fun and I'm looking at getting a 360 for halo3 and assassins creed.

It kinda sucks.

They went from being an actual tactical shooter to whenever your reticle is on someone it's just dice rolling.

LAME.

The combat in early betas was pretty awesome. (Albeit buggy and laggy) But they caved in to all the neckbeards that missed traditional click wait bull**** and came up with a half-assed boring compromise.

It sounds like the lame combat they implemented into SWG in the past year.

I don't think anything can get lamer than SWG's combat system.

The game looks ****ing beautiful but there's no content except straight PVE.

I made it to about tier 3 before I got sick of it :smith:
