Holy crap. Okay, so Peter accidentally leave the Irish chick in the future, she's screwed. Kensai is immortal, and you can bet a round 2 with Hiro, with Peter going all dark side on us. And once again they're tying everyone together.

How many pictures came to pass today, just Peter with the biohazard signs and Kensi v Hiro?

I don't mind the spoilers, and didn't see the episode yet but:

Can't Hiro stop time and cut off Kensai's head?

God damn, if only Sylar had that power. Haha it'll be funny if Sylar never gets his ability back and gets screwed over at the end by the Mexicans and Peter becomes the new evil. I also wonder if the cop will advance his mind powers.

You know, it would be fun having Hiro's power.

Imagine popping into an executive meeting and screaming "YATAHH" or slapping someone.

Adam and Peter. Save the cheerleader again. Elle. The Company. Peter failing at constipated look then time travel. Oh gosh I'm excited.

If Heroes stopped at this episode because of the WGA strike I'd go berserk.

I'm glad Bennett finally got West off Claire for a few minutes. He's no good for her.

Doesn't look so good to me. 93% of the world's population gone, and the survivors still have to stand in long queues.

well.. that explains why they didn't kill him. I don't think they know how. (and they might not be able to at all)

And now Hiro's got him all pissed again.

The writer's get my hopes up with the chance that Nikki will die. But she won't. Her character is useless.

Still, great episode, and I can't wait until next week.

What I'm starting to wonder is if Parkman's powers are evolving the whole time, why didnt we see some sign of his evolved powers in the 5-years-later episode last season?

He never had that encounter with his father to get him to progress.

Anything question I had regarding Claire and Adam and their supposed immortality; are they immune to starvation and dehydration? If they can regenerate, any damage done by malnutrition should be fixed and I suppose the only side effect (maybe?) would be hunger pain.

Nope. I remember reading early on that Parkman could do more than just read minds. In fact, I remember reading that all the heroes were going to have 2 powers.

I don't remember anything from the 5 year episode, but maybe Parkman was only using the mind-reading for some reason that has-yet-to-be-revealed.

I'd just like to remind everyone that just because he didn't USE the power, doesn't mean he didn't have it. I mean, did you see The Hatian wipe anyone's minds? Does that mean he's gonna lose his power?!?!? no... it just means he didn't use it that one day. ;)

I'm curious on something though, if Adam is immortal, shouldn't Peter be too? And if Claire could be the cure for the disease, shouldn't Peter be immune? So why, in the future, was Peter shown his death certificate?

This implies that the virus can knock out his power before his power can knock out the virus, and possibly the same for Adam and Claire.

Well, the past where he died could've been an alternate past. Possibly the past where Peter didn't get his regeneration power from meeting Claire. If you recall from season 1 there was a future Peter that had a scar because he didn't have regeneration.

No, the virus stops abilities from working. So I'd imagine that he wasn't able to cure himself.. Claire and Adam probably wouldn't be able to either.

(speculation about the outbreak below)
Do you guys think it's possible that Sylar has the virus and that's why his powers don't work? He *was* in custody of The Company. If so, he could be the source of the outbreak.

Wow, that never even crossed my mind! Makes perfect sense too.

Another note though, the virus isn't from the company, they're just playing with it. The virus, from what we know, is natural, that's why they had to cure The Hatian and Molly. (and Chanti died from it too)

ooh Sarn, that's a bit genius. He hasn't been feeling too well either, has he?

I've only just caught up with everyone, decided to start again from the beginning to remind myself what had happened. season 2 has irritated me so far, because it felt like they just dumped everyone in these totally random situations and hence absolutely anything could happen. the stuff that's going on with Peter in particular, is just sort of boring because it bears no relation to any kind of reality. presumably, with the addition of Adam, this should get more interesting. this was by far the best episode of the season so far, it finally feels like all the different situations are coming together a bit. but I can't wait for the next one, to finally see what happened after the bomb.

(heh, looks like the people at tv.com agree!)

Welcome to the bandwagon, Maev!

I agree: best episode yet this season.

Of course with the writers strike, this season is nearly over. I think, what, there's about 3 episodes left in the can already? I think the Office only has 2 left before they run out.

I thought they had enough to finish the 5-ep streak that just started? They'd go to hiatus, and that's where they have to figure out what's going on. The Break episode was rewritten as a season finale just in case.
