See, It's been telling me that my trial period expires tommorow. So i need a good freeware anti virus.

I already have Nod32 installed, But i don't like to rely on just one system.

Having two antivirus programs running is like putting two betas in a fishbowl. Things only get ugly.

Hmm I thought that Avast was freeware.

I don't? Avast and NOD always got along fine.

Are you sure it's not just asking you to register it?

It gives you 60 days after installing it, then asks you to register (which is free, by the way).

[EDIT]On another note: I thought I read somewhere that AVG wasn't going to offer the free version much longer. Or am I mistaken?[/EDIT]

AVG if it's the home Norton product, otherwise Norton if it's actually Symantec Anti-Virus, Corporate edition or similar.

The home products from Symantec and McAfee are D: but their enterprise products are :awesome:
