Just a heads up, you might want to pick it up at Toys R US. If you buy it the first week its out, you get a $25 gift card. So you might want to preorder it too, in case they run out. And if you preorder it you get a collectors coin and a free Wii remote glove.

I'm really excited about Galaxy. Some Nintendo honcho said it was the first worthy predecessor to Mario 64.

I played Wii for the first time, and I simply couldn't do it with my hands. If they made a smaller remote, it'd probably be really easy for me. Alas, I didn't enjoy my Galaxies experience.

Am I the only one who got excited and thought of the Power Glove when he read "free Wii remote glove"?

Anyway, in case anyone didn't know, you can get free remote gloves/jackets from Nintendo.

Kirby, what about simpler games where you only have to swing the controller, like in Tennis, could you play them?

Thanks Vin. Any idea if they're doing the same in Canada? If not I suppose I could just hop across the border.

Oh, btw, Galaxy's score on Metacritic is 97. That's freaking amazing.

I'm getting it for my sister for Christmas.....better not be sold out next week at Toys R Us. It does look good though, I was shafted with Sunshine for the Gamecube. That game felt more like EPA propaganda than a fun Mario game.

Yeah I saw an ad for it a while ago. Looks kickarse.

I might have lied about the free controller glove. I don't know. :/

Buying a Wii as soon as funds allow so I can play this.

Just finished Super Mario World on my DS... that brought back some memories.

You know if there's one thing that I hope Nintendo will do for their next Mario game is to reintroduce a full fledged coop mode. Luigi hasn't been working together with Mario since Super Mario World or so.

Good wii games are a bit rare so I welcome this game with open arms.

Although I really can't see it beating Resident Evil 4. That for the wii is amazing.

I haven't played Galaxy yet, but RE4 is definitely my favorite game on Wii. Metroid Prime is a very close second.

I played Galaxy a bit at EB trying to buy Assassin's Creed. The controls feel smooth, and they feel right. The sort of "small doses" of planets are great, they make it accessible and enjoyable. I can't wait to give this a full run when I get my wii.

I've played it for three hours so far tonight, and I am quite impressed. I hadn't been able to get into Mario 64 back in the day, but I've enjoyed Galaxy so far. It's the kind of game that isn't so difficult that you have to concentrate really hard, but still makes you think enough.

Yeah, I like it. Best game I've played for Wii.

On the logo, read out all the letters with stars underneath them. It might tell you something about yourself.
