No, I'm going to be in New Jersey, I suppose if my boss e-mails me I'll remote into work, but no crazyass shoppers for me.

Well, I do not work retail. However, I work at a Lockheed facility in King of Prussia, which is down the street from the third largest mall in America. Considering I do not feel like driving around town on Black Friday, I plan on taking the day off.

Well, I work in retail, but working black friday will actually be a very slow day for me. My family's hardware store is a small store in a small town, and, as in years past, we will have next to no business, and given that our order won't come in that week because of Thanksgiving, I'll also be left with nothing to do.

Absolutely not, I'll be driving home to continue playing Mass Effect and/or Assassin's Creed.

I think the office will be open, but I don't think anyone is going in.

I was in retail for 3 years and I was never once scheduled in the morning on black Friday. I always started at 2PM or so. :)

I work in retail and worked on black friday last year. Like I said, I might again this year. I feel like we should get time and a half for it though

If I work it'll be slow and boring in the office. Mostly because nobody will be there.

First time I will ever be shopping on Black Friday. When I worked the backroom at Target, it was usually a 14-16 hour night for me

I prefer working the the back at BBW than out on the floor. Unfortunately, I generally end up out on the floor.

Go to BJ's warehouse (if you are in the east) or costco (if you are in the west) for a cheap Xbox 360.

I wish I could go here,but unfortunately I can't.

I worked at Toys R Us last year on Black Friday, opening shift. And to be honest, it wasn't that bad. Everyone and and everything was prepared and organized for a huge crowd, and everything went smoothly.

It's the rest of season that's chaos.

I might have to work this Black Friday, but since I quit TRU and my other job only indirectly involves customers, I don't mind.

When's Black Friday? I don't think I'd have any money to spend anyway. :gonk:

Also: Malus, no ****! I used to pass by that Lockheed facility all the time. KoP is like 15 minute from my house off 422. I've even taken a tour, it seems like a really cool place to work. :D

I'm probably going to request the day off. Did Black Friday have an impact on the real estate market?

No (I'm not working - don't know anything about real estate markets).
