I downloaded an opensource linux game a while back that was very similar to ballance, but was actually a lot better, and free. Anyone know what I'm talking about? I've been goggling like crazy.

Man I used to waste so much time playing tux racer in the university's linux lab instead of doing my assignments.. good memories. It was totally worth it too

It's a game where you control a ball and you collect coins and traverse the levels.

Hmm I don't think I mentioned Neverball... I DO have it so I must've downloaded it when someone else mentioned it.

Basically it's monkey ball for PC. Plus it has a mini golf game thrown in for good measure. I keep it on my thumb drive.
